Zselyke Csaky
Senior Research Fellow, Centre for European Reform
Zselyke Csaky is a senior research fellow at the Centre for European Reform, covering EU institutions, elections, rule of law, and democracy. Before joining the CER, she was a Policy Leader Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) and served as research director at Freedom House, where she oversaw governance, media, and democracy projects in Europe and Eurasia. Her analysis has been featured in prominent outlets such as the Washington Post, Politico Europe, and Foreign Policy. Zselyke also has experience in journalism following a short stint at Bloomberg and as the founder and co-host of two podcasts. She holds MA degrees in human rights and in international relations and European studies.
