Tamara Branković

Tamara Branković is a dedicated activist, political scientist, and the Deputy Program Director at CRTA. At the heart of her work lies the coordination with CRTA’s research, policy, and legal teams, all unified in their mission to evaluate Serbia’s democracy health. This encompasses everything from scrutinizing the integrity of elections and the accountability of Serbia’s Parliament to gauging political pluralism and dissecting media manipulation and governmental narratives affecting democracy and human rights. In the electoral arena, Tamara leads the long-term observation facet of the CRTA Election Observation Mission, consisting of teams of field observers, media analysts, and legal specialists. During the 2022 April, 2023 December and 2024 June Elections she acted as one of deputy heads of CRTA Election Observation Mission. Tamara holds a joint MA degree in interdisciplinary South-Eastern European studies from University of Belgrade and Karl-Franzens-University of Graz.
