Mahir Poljić

Mahir Poljić, after completing his studies in economics at the University of Tuzla, directed his passion for positive social change towards working in the non-governmental sector. He currently serves as a project manager at the Centers for Civic Initiatives (CCI), one of the most influential NGO in Bosnia and Herzegovina, dedicated to strengthening democratic society and good governance. In his work, Mahir leads projects focused on combating corruption, strengthening civil society, and promoting EU integration. His activities include advocating for good governance and transparency in public institutions, as well as fighting against media manipulation. Through his involvement in the regional anti-corruption network SELDI, he contributes to building strong connections in the fight against corruption and disinformation across the wider region. Mahir believes in the power of innovation and technology to create positive social change, which he seeks to integrate into his daily work. His vision is to contribute to the creation of a more accountable, transparent, and prosperous society in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the broader region.
