Jelena Danilovic is an analyst at the Digital Forensic Center (DFC) of Atlantic Council of Montenegro which mission is to identify, explain, and counter the problem of foreign malign influence, malign information activities – disinformation, fake news, and narratives in both Montenegro and Western Balkan region. The focus of her work at the Digital Forensic Center is on research and analysis of socio-political events and malign influence, monitoring domestic media (focus on media outlets that are often a source of disinformation and pro-Serbian and pro-Russian narratives), regional media outlets (especially Serbian tabloids) and social networks (includes coordinated inauthentic behaviour on Facebook and X), exposing manipulation information published on portals and social networks. She specializes in media monitoring and analyzing narratives in media outlets, so she worked on monthly and annual reports about reporting of media from Montenegro and the region.
