Aleksandra Nikšić

Aleksandra Niksic has been the editor of BBC News in Serbian since November 2017. She has more than 35 years of experience in journalism, starting from her teenage years, covering conflicts in the former Yugoslavia and other war-affected regions, to modern challenges in digital media. She has worked for the American magazine Time, the British newspaper Daily Telegraph, and spent 18 years as a journalist for the French agency AFP. She was part of the team that launched VICE Serbia. She has translated around ten books and comics, as well as the American animated series South Park. She shares her life with her English bulldog, Badž, and cats Starbak and Bumer.
